Charitable Gift Annuities

Transfer an asset and receive tax benefits and a fixed and dependable income stream providing you with regular payments for life and allowing Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County to further our mission. You can also defer the gift but still receive an immediate income tax deduction.

Charitable remainder annuity trusts

At the end of the trust term, the balance goes to Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County. There are 2 ways you can receive payments:

• The annuity trust pays you, each year, the same dollar amount you choose at the start. Your payments stay the same, regardless of fluctuations in trust investments
• The unitrust pays you, each year, a variable amount based on a fixed percentage of the fair market value of the trust assets. The amount of your payments is predetermined annually. If the value of the trust increases, so do your payments. If the value decreases, however, so will your payments
