The Future Ready program aims to equip participants with the skills, experience, and support necessary for successful career placement, educational attainment, and advancement to livable wages. Central to this effort, participants will gain work experience in their chosen industries, building hands-on skills while establishing valuable industry connections. Through partnerships with local employers and targeted career pathways, participants will have opportunities to immerse themselves in real-world work environments.
The idea of the Future Ready program came about with the organization’s want to support our members through early adulthood. When members reach those pivotal years, the Club’s means to support them become limited. Where they once had a community of staff members and peers to fall back on, there becomes a gap. The Future Ready program will fill this gap and provide not only guidance on their college or career pathway, but social and emotional support as well. A key factor in the success is having the right staff member to carry out the vision.
