This summer, we were thrilled to partner with Bank of America to host Student Leaders for an eight-week paid internship for two exceptional high school students. David R. from Watsonville High School and Lauren A. from Notre Dame High School were selected as Bank of America Student Leaders, giving them the opportunity to gain invaluable leadership experience. Throughout the program, David and Lauren worked closely with Club staff, helping to supervise and engage members in various learning activities. A highlight of their experience was a week-long, all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., where they joined over 300 other Student Leaders from across the country. During the trip, they had the chance to engage with members of Congress and participate in meaningful discussions on civil topics. To conclude their internship, David and Lauren presented their summer experiences and learnings to Bank of America and BGCMC leadership. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and accomplishments and can’t wait to see the bright futures ahead for these rising leaders!
