Spring is a great time of year as we celebrate the incredible accomplishments and hard work of our graduating members. This year, our Seniors are embarking on their future journeys, from the Culinary Institute of America to UC Berkeley, and taking advantage of our exceptional community college system. Through the College & Career Readiness program, our students have received monthly case management support, participated in workshops to promote their growth, and enjoyed college tours.
The culmination of these efforts was seen when the Salinas Clubhouse hosted a “College Signing Day.” This event was a momentous occasion where our seniors celebrated with our younger members and showcased their future plans. For instance, Fatima A., a senior from Rancho San Juan High School, will be attending UC Berkeley to major in Public Health. Her ultimate goal is to create a legacy and return to Salinas to pay it forward, inspiring students who may think college is inaccessible because of their background.
Join us in celebrating Fatima A., Jose R., Manuel V., Rosalia A., Brian N., Emanuel A., Sam R., Roland T., Joseph Z. and Julian B. as they make us and their community proud!
