Buffalo Wild Wings is hosting Community Day to raise funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County (BGCMC) as part of the restaurant chain’s Team Up for Kids mission.

On April 18, across the nation, approximately 1,000 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants will donate 10 percent of their total sales to their local Boys & Girls Clubs.

Donations will be used to support the Clubs’ four annual sports leagues: soccer, flag football, basketball, and track and field. Club members will be on hand during the evening hours at both locations to greet customers, and former Philadelphia Eagles Ron Johnson and Anthony Toney will be on hand to sign autographs from 4pm-6pm at the Seaside location.

The Seaside restaurant is located at 1553 Fremont Blvd D3. The Salinas restaurant is located at 1988 North Main Street. Their menu can be found online at buffalowildwings.com.

About Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County (BGCMC) has played an integral role in the community for the past 50 years. BGCMC operates Clubhouses in Seaside and Salinas, providing a safe haven for over 600 children and teens a day with programs that focus on Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character & Leadership. Club members are offered mentoring and guidance to maintain on-grade school progression, graduate from high school, and prepare for college and careers. Nearly 90% of the total budget comes from generous individuals, corporations and foundations. The Clubs are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. during summer and school breaks, and from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. when school is in session.  Additional information is available at www.bgcmc.org or via phone at 831-394-5171.
