Parents

Welcome!

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County serves children between the ages of 6 and 18.  The Clubs offer an environment where children can feel safe, nourished and stimulated with a range of positive activities for them to do.  Our caring mentors provide homework support and help prepare our youth for great futures.

Membership Information

Membership is open to all youth between the ages of 6 to 18. To become a member, visit our Membership Page and download our 2016 Membership Application.  Membership applications are also available at both Clubhouses.

The annual fee to become a Club Member is $100 per child ages 6-12.

Teen membership (ages 12 and older) is just $10.00/year.  Our Clubs are open when kids and parents need us the most, including everyday after school, over most school breaks, and during the summer.

All new members and their parent/guardian must attend an orientation before receiving their permanent membership card. Teens along with a parent/guardian have a separate orientation led by our Club teens. These orientations are done on an as needed basis during regular program hours. Teens must complete the membership application/parental consent and submit form to the Membership Clerk.

It is our goal that every child we serve achieves on-time grade progression, graduates from high school, completes post-secondary education or training, and earns a livable wage as a productive member of our community. By instilling our core values and beliefs at every level in the organization, we strive to set standards of excellence across all dimensions of our youth services.
