Club members worked so hard over break to avoid summer learning loss. We felt they deserved to have a last day of Summer Program Blow Out. The kids voted and came up with three goals for the day.
- They could wear pajamas
- They would have a talent show
- They could all gather together in the gym to watch a movie – theater style with popcorn, pillows and a big screen!
The talent show kicked off with a great skit based on the book, “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs by A. Wolf as told to Jon Scieszka.”
We had several talented Club members dance and sing in front of the entire Club. Confidence was high and fueled by enthusiastic and supportive cheers from the crowd.
After the talent show, young Club members cozied up on the floor while our older kids hung out on the bleachers to watch Kung Fu Panda III, enjoy some popcorn and each other before Summer comes to an end.
