For the past three years, Marlene has been a driving force behind the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) program at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County’s Salinas Clubhouse. As the STEAM Specialist, she takes pride in planning and facilitating innovative curriculum that sparks curiosity and excitement among club members.
With a deep passion for science, Marlene believes that learning should be hands-on, engaging, and fun! She introduces club members to new scientific concepts every day, showing them that “science is everywhere.” Through interactive experiments and creative activities, she helps young learners see how science applies to the world around them.
