BGCMC celebrated Thanksgiving with more than 620 members and their families! Volunteers for the event included California American Water Company, who prepared and served meals for the Seaside Club alongside members of the Seaside Rotary Club, and help from the California Water Service Company, who prepared and served meals for the Salinas Club alongside volunteers with AmeriCorps.
The Clubs also wish to thank Barry Peterson , Richard Vince , Janine Chicorrat, Tonya Antle, and Jan Zakin for their help. Richard baked 300 individual pumpkin pound cakes as gifts for our members and their families. California American Water Company donated 150 turkeys, California Water Service Company contributed $1,000, Lucky’s Supermarket in Sand City donated $1,300 in groceries, Cardinale Moving & Storage donated boxes, and All Saints School donated groceries and pantry essentials to help families in need.
