Meet Zuleyka. She’s 10. She’s not crazy about dresses, the color pink, or playing with dolls, but she loves to play basketball in our gym. And now she loves to read. When she came to us, Zuleyka was a year behind grade level in her reading.
After only one semester in our Read Live literacy intervention program, she was half a year ahead! Her favorite books are “The War I Finally Won” and “Because of Mr. Terupt”.
